Invitation: The 9th China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo

Hosted by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and jointly supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, China Food and Drug Administration , State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of People’s Republic of China, State Intellectual Property Office of People’s Republic of China, , the Health Department of General Logistics of the People’s Liberation Army and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT), the 9th China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo will be held in the China Medical City Conference & Exhibition Trade Centre in Taizhou, Jiangsu from 16th to 18th Sep, 2018. 

The 8th Medical Expo has attracted 948 enterprises from 20 countries and regions including China, UK, Germany, France, US, and Japan, etc., and gathered more than 6,000 patents and innovation fruits worldwide. This Expo has far outperformed previous sessions in terms of scale, degree of internationalization, and intensity of interaction.

The Expo has arranged serial activities including theme forums, special summits, and exclusive cooperation, etc., with a view to building a medical expo platform integrating industry technology exchange, financial capital input, products and fruits trading, and project talents introduction, further gathering medical resources and high-end talents both at home and abroad, advancing in-depth cooperation between medical innovation technologies and financial capital, and promoting the common development and sharing of business opportunities of the medical industry both at home and abroad at a higher level.

China Medical City has presently been built into a well-known park both at home and abroad featuring biological medicine, and boasting the most complete industry chain, the most sophisticated technical platform, and the most professional service level. The Park has housed 800+ domestic and foreign medical enterprises, declared and obtained 1,600+ medical innovation achievements, gathered 70+ institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions both at home and abroad, and attracted 3,000+ domestic and overseas high-end talents.

China’smedicine is represented by Jiangsu, and Jiangsu’smedicine by Taizhou. Situated in the middle of Jiangsuprovince, Taizhou is one of hub cities of the Yangtze River Delta boasting profound cultural accumulation and picturesque natural sceneries and is a pilot city for clustered development of the comprehensive health industry of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In 2016, Taizhou’s bio-medicine and high-performance medical device industry value exceeded RMB 110 billion, ranking No. 1 among China’sprefectural cities.
